Haley Bush grew up in the small Mississippi town of Rolling Fork. She earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a neonatal nurse for several years. After meeting her prince charming, she got married, and began her toughest job thus far… MOTHERHOOD. She feels blessed with the opportunity to stay at home full-time and raise her three children near Jackson, MS.
Bush believes that God has given all of us unique gifts and abilities, and there’s a reason we have those, and our lives have a purpose here. Her faith has led her to pursue her artistic career. After adopting her son from China, she felt God asking her to do more with the artistic gifts He had given her. Bush became aware of the brokenness and pain taking place all over the world in MILLIONS of orphaned children’s hearts. I had to do something. Haley B Designs began with the purpose to raise money for adoptive families and orphans.
n 2015, He had opened my eyes to see what He sees every day, the brokenness and pain taking place all over the world in MILLIONS of orphaned children’s hearts. I had to do something. I could not rest.
A self-taught artist, Bush has enjoyed painting and creating since she was very young. She uses a variety of acrylic paints and texture mediums on both canvas and wood, and paints with brushes and palette knives. She also enjoys mixed media work, using gold leaf and book pages.
Bush's art inspiration flows from her strong faith and southern roots. Old hymns, scripture, and worship music are a huge inspiration for her. She loves all things vintage and rustic, barns, old churches, farm animals and farm life. All of these themes are evidenced in her heartfelt paintings.
